Market
Fused Group operates in the UK Converged Solutions marketplace.
Convergence has the potential both to create and to destroy value. Deloitte predicts that worldwide, it will lead to $1 trillion shift in valuations and revenues in the converging sectors by 2012.
As such, it represents both a disruptive threat and a huge opportunity for companies.
With the major UK network operators concentrating their efforts in either the home or corporate markets, they have abandoned
or curtailed support for ‘the channel’. There is a shortage of truly independent vendors able to offer end to end converged
products to the SME / Large business sector.
Our research has shown that customers have to buy from several vendors to
meet their needs and then have difficultly integrating the different technologies. More importantly the traditional channel vendor
is struggling to find a reliable partner to provide services to their customers.
The Fused Group intends to provide this community
with packed converged solutions suitable for the business market.
The UK convergence marketplace has experienced considerable mutation as ISPs and telecoms companies have sought to
consolidate to offer the greatest range of converged solutions
Whilst the term convergence has been in use for some time, there is considerable evidence that it is now finally here.
Voice and
data convergence has been adopted by 28% of large enterprises, showing that migration of technologies is happening and
happening quickly. What is equally significant is that 74% of enterprises expect to fully migrate their voice services over to IPbased
networks by the end of 2008.
Given that 28% have so far deployed some converged services, much activity and
expenditure is planned in the coming 3-5 years.
All of this translates to a UK market that is currently worth in excess of £30 Billion.
What does this mean for suppliers? 39% of
enterprises expect to use some form of managed services partnership approach to delivering converged services, which is
twice the current managed services penetration for separated voice and data networks.

Fused Networks provides a range of internet based business services: ADSL, SDSL, Wireless internet - both a personal WiFi service and a
Wireless Metropolitan Area Network for Manchester, Web and server
hosting and Internet carrier services and Mobile Office, our Hosted Exchange Solution.
Fused Webcalls is a SIP based VoIP service operating in the UK offering
SIP Trunks, Hosted and On-Site IP PBX services. The service allows for
high quality, low cost calls from any SIP based software or hardware (soft
phones, IP Phones) to be made over the internet.
Mywebcalls.com is our international VoIP offering. Mywebcalls services
support international call shops, internet café owners, SME VoIP providers
and ISPs. There are over 200 international resellers in over 35 countries.
These partners can then recruit their own resellers, so dramatically
improving the mywebcalls.com market penetration.
